Prof. Nico de Bruyn, Vice President (Conservation & Education) & Director of the Global Center for Species Survival, Indianapolis Zoological Society, Inc. (USA)

I am currently a conservation executive and research ecologist. I have led and managed wildlife research and expeditionary field teams with international profiles in the fields of large mammal ecology, marine mammal science, wildlife management and zoological 3D photogrammetry for over two decades.

I am an adventurous, experienced explorer, and I have worked in various environments with diverse teams and am a comfortable, accomplished project innovator and strategic leader. I have changed my academic hat (previously a Professor of Zoology) for a more practical and applied conservation leadership position at the Indianapolis Zoological Society.
